Some preggo pics...

Here's me at 24 weeks! For those of you who don't know, we are having a little boy! We are naming him Jackson Benjamin Creasman...Jackson after Ben's granddad Jack, who died when Ben's dad was young, and Benjamin after Ben of course. We are very excited to meet our little guy...he is very active & loves to kick mommy in the bladder! At our last doc's appointment I was measuring a week ahead & by the looks of my tummy, this may be true! We are hoping he will come early (I know that's not normal with 1st pregnancies!) & healthy as we plan on heading down to Myrtle Beach for the Leadership Project in June.
This weekend we are having our annual "Men vs. Wild" weekend and "Girls' Getaway". We'll post pictures when we get back! Thanks for your prayers!

DC '09 Conference

Well, we had a great conference up in DC. The topic, Legendary, was great for our students and the breakout seminars were really helpful as well. We had about 60 students from PC attend this year, which almost twice as much as we had last year. The new location was a lot of fun for our students and we will definitely be back there next year. Here is a little video we put together to give just a snap shot of the conference and a few words from students on a few things they took away from the conference. Thanks for your support and help in bringing people before Jesus in this way. It is such a blessing to get to rejoice with you guys about what God is doing in our labors!

Merry Christmas!

Last week we had our annual staff Christmas party. Santa even decided to pay us a visit!

Here's the whole gang...the kiddos didn't want to look at the camera...they were too busy being afraid of Santa!

This is Jake and Emily. Jake is on staff with us at PC, and Emily is his bride to be, so we are excited about her joining the team!

We had a gingerbread house building contest against campuses. We won in my opinion.

Go Blue Hose!

pregnancy picture

We are now 16 and a half weeks along & this belly/baby is growing fast. I (Kaye) weighed 9 lbs. 5 oz. when I was born, so I'm really hoping that this baby won't be as big as I was. We are going to find out what the baby is, but we won't know until I'm 21 weeks after we return from all of our Christmas travels & our New Year's Conference. We'll keep you posted. Everything is going well so far & I feel a lot better than I did the first 14 weeks!

Next time I'll move my hand so you can see more of the belly--I've never taken a pregnancy picture before so maybe I'll get better at it. By the way, that's our dog's tail at the bottom of the picture, not some weird knee warmers!

On the Support Trail

Hey guys, just wanted to give a quick update on what has been going on with us. This past week, we hit the support trail hard in Georgia and met with with a bunch of potential new supporters as well as a number of you all! Anyway, the trip went very well, and we really enjoyed connecting with everyone. We even got to make a trip up to my (Ben) old high school and see a lot of old friends!
Anyway, the Lord continues to teach us a lot through this process and we are learning to trust Him in many ways that we never have before. A thought that has come out of this for us is that the Lord wants us to see that the support we receive does not come from people but from Him. I think that this is even a great thought for all of us during this time of economic struggle. It can be so easy, when working a job, to begin to believe that we are our own providers but when in fact, God is still our provider. So, it seems that this season of life that the Lord has us all in is one in which we can all learn to look to Him more and ultimately see that He is our greatest desire and need! A verse over which I have been meditating here of late is Psalm 73:25-26, which says, "Whom have I in heaven but You? And there is nothing on earth I desire besides You. My flesh and my heart may fail but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever!"
Finally, the Lord is continuing His work here on the campus and showing Kaye and I how He really can work without us! How easy it is to begin to think that we are so crucial to God's work!?! Anyway, please continue to pray that the Lord would be at work in individual hearts as we ramp up toward our conference over the break and that the Lord would bring people to the conference. Love you all and we will keep the updates coming!

a few more...

The presidential candidates made an appearance...only one week left...I guess they're desperate to come to our party!

Personally, I think Ben and I made a better McCain/Palin...doesn't Ben look handsome with grey hair?

Ken and Barbie even showed up. These guys would be Ken & Barbie...Tim is the starting quarterback at PC and Summer is Miss Spartanburg. They fit the bill nicely!

All in all we had a great time!

2nd annual halloween party...

This year marked our 2nd annual Halloween party for Campus Outreach. We had a costume contest this year, so we thought we'd show you some of the competition...

A couple of hunters...these guys look serious!

Remember those weird little troll dolls?!

Unfortunately, you can probably guess what this is...

IPOD commercial!

Fruit of the loom anyone?
